thick、thinness、width、thickness
1.thick：形容词 / 副词 “厚的 / 厚地；浓的”（如 a thick book；cut thick），thickness 是名词 “厚度；浓度”（如 the thickness of the wall；oil thickness）；
2. thinness：名词 “薄度；稀薄”（如 the thinness of the paper；air thinness），与 thickness 反义；
3. width：名词 “宽度；广度”（如 the width of the table；road width），与 thickness 均为 “维度名词”，但 thickness 指 “上下 / 前后厚度”，width 指 “左右宽度”；
4. 注意 thickness 常用搭配 “a thickness of（… 的厚度）”（如 a thickness of 5cm），thick 常用 “be thick with（充满…）”（如 the air is thick with smoke），搭配不同。
