shades、shadows、colors
1.shades（名词复数 / 动词第三人称单数）：“阴影；阴凉处；色调；细微差别；遮蔽”（如 shades of a tree 树的阴影；in the shade 在阴凉处；different shades of blue 不同的蓝色调；shades of meaning 意义的细微差别；shades the window 遮蔽窗户），多义需区分 “名词” 和 “动词”；
2. shadows（名词复数 / 动词三单）：“影子；阴影；跟踪”（如 cast a shadow 投下影子；dark shadows 黑暗阴影；shadows sb. 跟踪某人），侧重 “因光线遮挡形成的影子（有轮廓）”，shades 是 “无轮廓的阴影或阴凉”；
3. colors（名词复数 / 动词三单）：“颜色；色彩；给… 上色”（如 bright colors 鲜艳的颜色；colors the picture 给画上色），侧重 “整体颜色”，shades 是 “颜色的细微差别（色调）”；
4. 注意 shades 作 “色调” 时，搭配 “shades of sth.”（… 的色调 / 细微差别），如 “shades of green 绿色的色调”“shades of opinion 观点的细微差别”，shadows/colors 无此 “细微差别” 义。
