forest、wooded、forested
1. forested：形容词 “被森林覆盖的（指区域内有大量森林）”（如 a forested area 森林覆盖区；forested mountains 森林覆盖的山脉）；
2. 与 forest（名词 “森林”/ 动词 “造林；覆盖森林”，如 a dense forest 茂密森林；forest the hills 在山上造林）区别：forest 是 “名词（森林）或动词（造林）”，forested 是 “形容词（被森林覆盖的）”（forest the land 给土地造林，forested land 被森林覆盖的土地）；
3. 与 wooded（形容词 “树木茂密的（指有较多树木，但不如森林密集）”，如 a wooded valley 树木茂密的山谷）区别：forested 侧重 “大面积森林覆盖”，wooded 侧重 “局部树木密集”（forested region 森林区域，wooded backyard 树木茂密的后院）。
