adjusted、adapted、modified、regulated
1. adjusted：动词过去式（“adjust” 的过去式），多义：①“调整（细节 / 参数，以适应）”（如 adjusted the settings 调整设置、adjusted to life 适应生活）；②“校准（仪器）”（如 adjusted the clock 校准时钟）；
2. adapted：“适应（环境 / 变化，改变自身）”（如 adapted to the new job 适应新工作），比 adjusted 更侧重 “主动改变自身”；
3. modified：“修改（特征 / 结构）”（如 modified the design 修改设计），无 “适应” 含义；
4. regulated：“调节（系统 / 流程，以规范）”（如 regulated the temperature 调节温度），比 adjusted 更强调 “规范性”。
